Sarah Palin is Resigning
[caption id="attachment_1637" align="aligncenter" width="300" caption="Sarah Palin, Governor of Alaska"][/caption] According to KTTU in Anchorage Alaska, Gov. Sarah Palin is resigning her office in a few weeks. There is no confirmation as to the reason why she is resigning, but it is already believed that this is a step in preparation for her to run for President in 2012. To be absolutely honest, I don't know why she would give it up before her term expires. It shows a lack of commitment in my personal opinion. Then again, who am I, a blogger from SC. RUMORS: She is resigning to run for the US Senate seat ...
Race Bites Another Republican Leader
[caption id="attachment_1609" align="aligncenter" width="178" caption="Audra Shay, Team Renewal Candidate for Chairman of Young Republicans"][/caption] Today, a candidate for the Chairman of the National Federation of Young Republicans, Audra Shay, had a Rusty DePass moment while commenting on Facebook. Last month, Rusty DePass made media headlines after he made racial comments on Facebook concerning Mrs. Obama and apes. Apparently, people do not learn from history. An individual responding to her comment about Wal-Mart regarding unions and employee mandated healthcare made the following comment: ".... obama is the new terrorist ... muslim is on there side ... need to take this country back from all ...

Al Franken Wins Minnesota…Finally
[caption id="attachment_1579" align="aligncenter" width="352" caption="Al Franken"][/caption] After 8 longs months of recounts, court cases, and the Minnesota Supreme Court, Franken is finally the candidate to take the seat in the US Senate. Republican Norm Coleman issued a concession speech shortly after the announcement made by the court. Democrats now have a 60 vote majority in the Senate. Some could say thanks to Arlen Spector, but this now becomes a larger issue with the new cap and trade bill coming to the Senate. Many argue the only way this is going to stop is a filibuster by the Republicans. Based on party lines, the ...
Bernanke Threatens Economic Collapse If Fed Audited
[caption id="attachment_1524" align="aligncenter" width="265" caption="Ben Bernanke, Federal Reserve Chairman"][/caption] Representative John Duncan questions Bernanke about Ron Pauls H.R. 1207, Audit the Federal Reserve Act, which is cosponsored by more than half of the Congress. In the interview Bernanke claims that the Fed is opening up, but then makes the following statement. "If the GAO audits the operational aspects and makes judgements on their decisions, that effectively becomes a take over of monetary policy by the Congress, a repudiation of the independence of the Federal Reserve which would be highly destructive to the stability of the financial system, the dollar, and our national economic ...

I Remeber When …….I admittedly am not old enough to really be uttering those words, but in today’s world it seems that my country and in some cases my own party have left me. I look around the world around me, my city, my church, my state and my country and fail to recognize things that I once thought were normal. Once upon a time the people in this country strived... A Good JudgeIt has not taken long for Obama to have the opportunity to select a new Supreme Court Justice. To be completely honest with you, I am not surprised that his selection is a female minority. I am most surprised that his nominee as a record of not being a good judge. The simple fact is you can only judge how good a Judge has been by a ratio of the number... [Read more of this review]
2 Wrongs Don’t Make A RightI am happy to report that on May 31, 2009 60,000 babies may have been given another chance at life. I am also sad to report that more than 60,000 babies have already been killed by one man. Although the murders he committed were legal, that in no way makes them justified. I am sorry that it took the illegal actions of one man to save so many lives.... [Read more of this review]
Inglis - When it Suits His NeedsBob Inglis begins firing shots over the Gowdy bow. Gowdy responds with torpedoes in the water. Yesterday, Congressman Bob Inglis [R, SC - 4], earned himself another opponent for his re-election bid in 2010. The already packed field was joined by 7th Circuit Solicitor Trey Gowdy of Spartanburg. But this article isn’t about Gowdy. It will be... [Read more of this review]
School is Out Early in South CarolinaSchool is Out Early in South Carolina I respect our teachers and the hard work they put in for our kids. They are true heroes for the hell they go through to teach our kids. H. 3047 Dead for 2009?Nikki Haley, SC House District 87 Doing my morning read of the various blogs, I stumbled upon an interesting statement at Nathan’s News.
