Jeffrey Attempting to Censor Social Media
[caption id="attachment_832" align="aligncenter" width="500" caption="Christina Jeffrey, Candidate for US Congress, SC 4th Congressional District"][/caption] Last week on Facebook, one of our Libertarian leaning friends posted an interesting comment. It read..."just defriended a Congressional candidate." -> view here By the way, they live in the 4th Congressional District, which further fueled my interest. So I had to inquire...who and why? Come to find out, the candidate was none other than Christina Jeffrey. The very candidate who claims to be a Tea Party candidate and invokes the friendship of Ron Paul frequently. Needless to say, for you Ron Paul supporters out there, this does nothing to ...
Rep. Pitts Introduces Binding Gun Rights Law
On February 2nd, Rep. Ted Pitts introduced a bill in the SC State House that would make it a felony for any public government official to require registration to purchase a firearm or ammunition within the state of South Carolina. This bill, H.4509, is currently sitting in the House Judiciary committee pending its recommendation. This reminds me of the Montana law passed in the past few years which provides a safe haven for gun manufacturers in Montana. This does not go quite has far but it moves to put the Federal Government on notice and helps ensure the peoples second amendment ...
The Fightin’ Fourth Year End Update
In South Carolina's most conservative district, the filing deadline has come and gone. This cycle has seen the incumbent come out with the gloves off, taking on his challengers and pledging to debate as often as possible. He even sent out one piece that seemingly endorsed another candidate in the race causing one campaign to call for Inglis to withdraw. It has even become personal with some spouses getting in on the fun, taking jabs at other candidates or the candidate bullying the spouse. You know who we are talking about candidates! For transparency sake, I am volunteering on Jim Lee's campaign. ...
House District 38 Poll
Before the old poll system died, I was able to recover the voting data for the House District 38 race. With that said, I would like to offer these disclaimers: Polling before and during January probably is not the best practice Web polling typically is not scientifically accurate. Our polls do there best to prevent users from voting multiple times Things don't look good for the incumbent, Joey Millwood. Millwood, who is an outsider and doesn't play by the standard rules of politics, appears to have upset the political establishment. That doesn't bother him though. He'll continue to do what he believes is right, stirring ...

H.R. 45 – Blows Up Right to Protect Ones SelfSeveral months ago, we briefly mentioned some concerns with the Blair Holt Firearms Licensing Act of 2009, H.R. 45. The new firearms act requires the creation of a national database to store each gun owners... [Read more of this review]
Dr. Fishbone a real “Catch”I had the opportunity to eat at a brand new restaurant Thursday night in Florence, “Dr. Fishbone”, and from the time I walked in though the door I knew it was going to be a great experience. It seems that Ard has grasped the concept of running a statewide campaign... [Read more of this review]
