Something for all of us to remember...The lowest stage a society can reach is when its leaders are chosen by their wealth instead of their ability. (Author unknown to me.)Or thier ability to raise money. I am to old to be a YR, but I think that all of you are on the right track. Keep a watchful eye on all the candidates on both side of the aisle. Promote only the ones that have an agenda that reflects the true values of all of SC. Thanks to all of you for a very informative view of the Republican Party in our beautiful state.

Richard,

It is a shame. I have nothing but admiration for you guys. I was a young National Republican myself a long time ago. Way before SC had an organization. Call me if I can ever be of any help. As Reagan said save your Ammo for the enemy they are the Democrats not Republicans.

Moye--I am so glad you cleared this up. I'm sorry for thinking you may have posted those comments in the first place. I know Britton from various political stuff and I guess those comments just upset me. It's a shame that someone would use your "call-sign" and post these comments. Good luck with Clarendon County.

May be a little late commenting but I am the real (mg) Moye Graham the Clarendon County Chairman and the comments about the new YR Chair was not my comments. Some person decided to use my initials for a reason unknown to me. Britton Pruett is my friend and we have discussed this. She understands that it was not me who posted this. In fact I did endorse Britton and so did two of my Vice Chairs in Clarendon. Clarendon was one of those counties where we elected five out of six new officers. It was a complete turnover similiar to several counties around the state. I do believe I know who posted this and if that person was the guilty one I do hope he understands the hurt that he caused not only myself but other people that was associated with the Clarendon GOP and Chairman Pruett. Ms. Pruett does not need permission from Clarendon to take charge of her future. She is an adult and she is a Republican. I wish her and all of the YR much success in all that you do. We in Clarendon celebrate all of our victories and having one of our own elected to the YR Chair is one of them just as when I was elected as only one of twenty two delegates from SC for the Republican National Convention. I would hope that anyone that knows me from the blogs and news media or in person would also know that I am not the kind of person that would submit a comment that would hurt one of our people and to be accused really bothers myself and those close to me but as long as the people that was touched by this understands the truth then my concience is clear.
