On a lighter note, the Tar Heels are in position to win the regular season and securing the #1 seed in the ACC Tourney.
The pre-season favorites have hit a few road bumps throughout this season:
- Physc0-T started off the season on the bench with shin issues
- One of Roy’s top recruits, Freshman Tyler Zeller, was out for most of the season with a broken wrist.
- Surprise loses to Wake Forest, Maryland, and Boston College respectively
Wrapping up the final week, they have the ACC worst Yellow Jackets at home before traveling to Blacksburg to see the Hokies. As usual, the Tar Heels will finish up with Duke at home.
My biggest concern heading into the season finale is, in my opinion, the biggest stain on Hansboroughs career at UNC. In his 4 years, the Heels are 1-2 at home vs the Blue Devils in the regular season.
